The work

As a Project Manager within Baseline, Standards and Requirements, you will drive clarity, alignment, and execution across functional delivery and strategic initiatives. You will oversee the full project lifecycle—from request intake and prioritization through delivery of high‑visibility operational and strategic efforts. This hands‑on, execution‑focused role requires managing complex stakeholder relationships, facilitating governance, and ensuring work is supported by clear documentation, data, and analysis. You will bring structure to ambiguous environments, maintain a high‑quality backlog or project portfolio, and provide teams with the direction and alignment necessary for successful delivery. Working across operational stakeholders, clinicians, technical teams, and senior leaders, you will ensure transparency, accountability, and high‑quality execution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize project activities across the full lifecycle, ensuring requirements, priorities, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirements‑gathering sessions to translate business needs into actionable documentation

  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to manage dependencies, negotiate priorities, and resolve issues

  • Drive clarity and structure in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments, identifying risks, gaps, and decision needs

  • Develop polished, executive‑ready communications including briefings, dashboards, and recommendations

  • Monitor progress and team performance, ensuring all inputs, requirements, and alignments are in place for effective execution

  • Support process improvement by enhancing intake flows, documentation standards, governance routines, and operational processes

  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, technical, and executive audiences

  • Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills while managing multiple initiatives with high attention to detail

  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all project participants

Here’s what you need:

  • 5–8 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Business Analyst

  • Advanced understanding of Oracle Health (Cerner) or experience supporting federal healthcare organizations

  • Mastery of requirements gathering and backlog management

  • Deep experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • PMP or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification

  • Superior communication and negotiation skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance

  • Must work on site at the VA (811 Vermont Ave, Washington DC) four (4) days per week if staffed at Project Reverence
