Job Description
Title: Rheumatologist (multiple openings)
Job Description: Diagnose, evaluate, manage, and treat arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles, and bones; examine patients to determine the cause of and best treatment plan for rheumatology related diseases such as autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, tendinitis, gout, and lupus; order laboratory and other tests; prescribe and monitor medication of patients when appropriate; collaborate with other physicians in the practice to create individualized patient treatment plans; maintain patient files; and perform other assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.
Requirements: Must have M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent, have completed Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship training, and have a valid Kentucky medical license.
Work Locations: 1000 Ashland Drive, Suite 102, Ashland, KY 41101; and 2201 Lexington Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101
Work Hours: 8 am to 5 pm: Monday through Friday
