  • Support the administration and coordination of leaves of absence, reasonable accommodation requests, interactive process requirements, workers compensation matters, and compliance processes in partnership with HR Leadership and the Centers of Excellence.

  • Respond promptly and accurately to employee questions on HR policies, benefits, pay, leave and procedures, and escalate or follow up on complex issues until resolved.

Talent & Performance

  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, engagement, retention, and employee development for assigned groups.

  • Partner with managers to improve role clarity, team effectiveness, and execution of People programs.

  • Identify recurring capability or employee experience themes and recommend practical actions.

HR Operations, Data & Compliance

  • Interpret and apply company policies and established HR practices consistently; identify issues requiring policy clarification or legal review.

  • Own the payroll process, including input review, processing, and issue resolution, while supporting benefits administration in partnership with the appropriate Centers of Excellence.

  • Generate and analyze workforce reports to identify trends, data issues, and operational priorities.

Programs & Change Support

  • Lead or coordinate site and business-unit delivery of People programs, including annual HR cycles, employee communications, training, and change activities.

  • Partner with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to translate enterprise programs into practical local execution.

  • Develop tools, templates, standard work, and process improvements that strengthen consistency and employee experience.

HR Team Partnership

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and quality review for HR Coordinators; may lead defined projects or workstreams.

  • Build productive relationships with employees, managers, site leaders, and cross-functional partners.

  • Maintain appropriate escalation paths while taking ownership of issues within the role’s scope.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience with meaningful exposure to employee relations, manager support, HR operations, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Working knowledge of federal employment law and applicable state employment requirements; ability to recognize when escalation is needed.

  • Experience supporting employees and managers in California, including familiarity with California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
