As a Developer Experience & AI Platform Architect, you will help shape how teams plan, build, deliver, and operate software across the enterprise.
You’ll lead solution architecture for developer experience and AI-enabled delivery capabilities, connecting product, engineering, platform, architecture, security, risk, finance, sourcing, and operations. This is an individual contributor position, guiding architecture standards, integration patterns, lifecycle data, roadmaps, and technology decisions that improve the path from idea to production. By bringing together technical judgment, collaborative problem-solving, and measurable delivery outcomes, you’ll help teams adopt secure, resilient, supportable AI and developer platform capabilities while giving leaders clearer insight into delivery speed, quality, reliability, cost, and developer experience.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
-
7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or enterprise architecture, including direct responsibility for modern software delivery practices.
-
5+ years of experience leading architecture or technical strategy for enterprise-scale development and delivery platforms, developer ecosystems, or software development lifecycle toolchains.
-
Hands-on software development experience using one or more general-purpose programming languages, with demonstrated ability to read, write, review, and troubleshoot application code, APIs, or delivery automation.
-
Demonstrated experience creating and governing architecture artifacts, including reference architectures, integration patterns, standards, guardrails, architecture decision records, and roadmaps used across multiple product or application teams.
-
Experience architecting integrations across the software delivery lifecycle, connecting ideation, portfolio or work planning, development, testing, deployment, and platform operations through lifecycle data and shared identifiers.
-
Direct experience leading the architecture and integration of developer-facing AI capabilities, such as AI coding assistants, developer agents, or AI-enabled workflows, with implementation or rollout across multiple development teams.
-
Experience defining and applying software delivery measures to evaluate flow, quality, reliability, adoption, or business outcomes and inform architecture or platform decisions.
-
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across product, engineering, platform, architecture, security, risk, finance, or operations without direct reporting authority.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience developing or applying business-of-IT data models that connect portfolios, products, applications, services, and costs to support end-to-end delivery measurement and investment decisions.
-
Experience architecting model gateways or managed model access for developer tools, including identity and policy controls, usage telemetry, and vendor or model abstraction.
-
Experience designing agentic architectures for developer workflows, including tool integration, orchestration, and knowledge or context architecture.
-
Experience applying evaluation, observability, quality, safety, governance, and lifecycle practices to developer-facing AI capabilities.
-
Experience conducting structured pilots or evaluations and developing adoption plans to compare developer-facing AI tools, models, or integration approaches.
-
Experience measuring developer AI adoption and outcomes through indicators of flow, quality, reliability, developer experience, or realized value.
-
Experience applying AIFinOps principles to architecture decisions, including usage, consumption, capacity, unit economics, cost attribution, forecasting, optimization, and value realization.
-
Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms with self-service workflows, reusable delivery paths, and developer experience measurement.
-
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and delivery automation, including pipeline architecture, artifact management, build and test automation, release strategies, and developer platform integration.
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
