This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to be fully onsite in Arlington, VA. The position is willing to pay between $170,000-$190,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Acquisition Program Manager for a top defense and government services client. This individual will help oversee a major acquisition support portfolio valued at more than $60M, leading a geographically dispersed team responsible for delivering acquisition, analytical, and decision-support services to senior Department of Defense stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of program leadership, business development, and federal acquisition expertise, while serving as a trusted advisor to senior military and civilian leaders. This role will also be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, supporting capture and proposal efforts, managing portfolio finances, and mentoring high-performing teams. Candidates with deep DoD acquisition experience, executive-level communication skills, and an active TS/SCI clearance will thrive in this highly visible leadership position. We have an immediate need for a Sr. Acquisition Program Manager to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA.

Oversee a $60M+ acquisition support portfolio and a distributed team Manage acquisition, analytical, and decision-support services for OSW clients Coordinate with Program Managers to ensure successful execution of contracts and deliverables Lead oversight of prime and subcontractor performance Develop and execute business growth strategies with current and adjacent customers Support capture, proposal, and recompete efforts for new and existing opportunities Manage portfolio finances, contracts, and revenue objectives Drive organizational growth across people, tools, capabilities, and service offerings Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners Mentor, develop, and lead employees while fostering a high-performance culture Maintain operational excellence, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

Skills and Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance 15+ years of relevant experience 5+ years managing complex, high-value contracts within the Department of Defense or Federal Government Experience supporting and interacting with senior military and civilian leadership Prior experience within the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Joint Staff, or similar headquarters organizations preferred Ability to produce executive-level analysis, briefings, and decision support materials Master’s degree Deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes, documentation, milestone requirements, and contracting fundamentals Business development, capture management, or proposal experience Experience supporting space, nuclear, cyber, or mission assurance programs PMP Certification DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management
