Full job description
- Role: Teacher of the Visually Impaired Progress Monitor + Gen Ed Consultant
- Fully remote, 1099 contract position.
- Daily Rate: $360-$375; rates are negotiable and subject to change.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3:25 PM EST
- Must hold an active NY state Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role Join our educator pool and get access to our portal, where you can select job openings that match your certification as they become available from our school and district partners. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.
As a Fullmind educator, you will:
- Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance
- Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active New York state Student with Disabilities certification with Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
