Basic Job Functions:
The responsibilities of the 1st Shift Production Lead include but are not limited to: being a positive member of the leadership team at NTS Hazleton, being an active participant with developing teammates within our culture, monitoring machine loading to ensure proper flow of product throughout the department, as well as overseeing and training teammates on the line. This position is also responsible for communicating information to other departments and teammates as it relates to production. The Operations Lead is responsible for establishing and setting the pace and maintaining efficiency and quality on the line. Additional responsibilities will include filling in for other positions on the line, and for the Supervisor, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Competent with Microsoft Office software programs.

Minimum 6 months' experience in steel manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Operations processes and procedures.

Previous leadership experience.
