Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an AI Adoption & Implementation Lead to support the deployment and adoption of artificial intelligence solutions for a leading pharmaceutical organization. This individual will serve as the primary adoption and implementation lead responsible for taking AI solutions from technical completion through successful rollout, user adoption, and sustained business value across scientific and enterprise teams.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of change management, technology implementation, customer success, and stakeholder engagement experience and is comfortable operating at the intersection of AI, science, technology, and business transformation. This role requires someone who can build excitement around new AI capabilities, establish credibility with scientists and senior leaders, and translate technically complex solutions into clear, meaningful use cases for end users.

This is a highly visible, stakeholder-facing role. The AI Adoption & Implementation Lead will partner closely with AI and technology teams, scientific stakeholders, business leaders, and executive sponsors to develop implementation strategies, drive adoption campaigns, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and ensure new AI capabilities become embedded into day-to-day ways of working.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the implementation, rollout, and adoption strategy for AI solutions across scientific and business functions.
  • Develop and execute implementation plans that move AI solutions from technical completion through deployment, adoption, and sustainment.
  • Create targeted AI adoption campaigns designed to generate awareness, excitement, engagement, and utilization of new capabilities.
  • Serve as a visible, customer-facing representative of AI programs, regularly engaging directly with scientists, business leaders, and senior executives.
  • Translate complex AI solutions, capabilities, and technical concepts into clear business value, practical use cases, and compelling messaging for non-technical audiences.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to different user populations, leadership groups, and levels of AI maturity.
  • Conduct stakeholder, readiness, and adoption assessments to identify barriers to adoption and proactively address resistance or uncertainty.
  • Partner with AI product owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders to develop effective rollout strategies and implementation roadmaps.
  • Facilitate demonstrations, stakeholder sessions, leadership discussions, workshops, and adoption events to increase awareness and confidence in new AI capabilities.
  • Develop communications and messaging that clearly articulate the purpose, value, capabilities, and expected impact of AI solutions.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, champions, scientists, and business leaders who can accelerate adoption within their organizations.
  • Identify implementation and adoption risks and provide recommendations to program leadership to improve engagement and utilization.
  • Support go-live planning, readiness activities, launch communications, hypercare, and post-launch reinforcement.
  • Define adoption metrics and success measures to evaluate utilization, engagement, user experience, and overall effectiveness of AI implementations.
  • Gather structured user feedback and partner with technical and product teams to inform solution improvements and future adoption strategies.
  • Develop executive presentations, adoption updates, implementation roadmaps, and stakeholder materials for senior leadership.
  • Help establish repeatable adoption and implementation practices that can be leveraged across future AI solutions and use cases.

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology adoption, implementation, organizational change management, customer success, digital transformation, or technology-enabled business transformation.
  • Proven experience leading adoption or implementation activities for emerging technology, enterprise software, digital products, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to take technology solutions from technical readiness through business implementation, rollout, adoption, and sustainment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills with the ability to establish credibility across technical, scientific, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to access the Andover, Massachusetts site on a semi-regular basis, particularly during key implementation and rollout activities. This is not an everyday onsite position.
  • Direct experience supporting the adoption or implementation of AI, Generative AI, machine learning, or AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or scientific research experience.
  • Experience partnering with scientists, researchers, R&D organizations, or other highly technical user populations.
  • Experience with AI product adoption, AI enablement, technology customer success, or AI transformation programs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI, AI governance, data privacy, and organizational considerations associated with enterprise AI adoption.
  • Experience developing communities of practice, champion networks, office hours, demonstrations, or other programs designed to accelerate technology adoption.
  • Experience defining and tracking adoption KPIs, including utilization, engagement, stakeholder sentiment, and behavioral change.
  • Prosci, CCMP, PMP, or equivalent change management/project management certification.
