About theRole

We arelooking for a highly energetic, result-oriented, passionate, and hands-on ProjectEngineer with a desire to join a growing team. The person would be supportingprogrammatic engineering functions such as planning, directing, and coordinatingthe activities involved in estimating, constructability and contract reviews,and training & development of project level engineers.

Theprimary purpose of this position is to support the planning, coordination, andexecution of mission-critical infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer ensuresthat all technical aspects of the project are executed to meet the highstandards of reliability, scalability, and security required in data centerenvironments. The role involves close collaboration with project teams andstakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Engineer willestablish KPIs to help drive program improvement, and the position alsorequires participation of onboarding, training, and mentoring of new projectengineers and the mobilization of new project sites.

WhatYou’ll Do

  • Support the RFP process by performingconstructability and contract document reviews

  • Review and interpret project specificdrawing plans and specifications

  • Manage and development of a VDC program

  • Develop tools and procedures to improveengineering functions

  • Develop training and mentorship forengineering personnel

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)related to engineering services

  • Create a positive working relationshipwith stakeholders

  • Provide courteous, professional serviceto customers

WhatYou’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, constructionmanagement or related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in constructionproject engineering or management

  • Experience with contract management, lean practices,and value engineering

  • Experience with data center or large-scalecommercial construction is preferred

  • Proficiency in project management or constructionsoftware such as Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, or Procore

  • Knowledge of BIM and CAD systems and processes

  • Strong understanding of construction methods,materials, and regulations

  • CCM, EIT, PE, PMP certification or advancededucation in engineering or construction management is a plus

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Engineer position is $110,000 and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
