Position Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Controller, the Associate, Transaction Services, supports the Accounts Payable and Payroll teams through research, analysis, and reporting, and provides recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. This position also requires the processing of payroll for hourly employees.
Essential Functions:
Processing payroll for hourly employees, including timesheet verification.
Conducts in-depth research and analysis of payroll inquiries from employees.
Performs comprehensive research on inquiries related to accounts payable, including those from employees, vendors, and various university departments.
Runs and reviews Payroll/AP reports to identify trends, anomalies, and discrepancies.
Assists in reconciliations between Payroll/Accounts Payable records, general ledger accounts, and bank statements. Identifies and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner.
Records transactions on a monthly basis for Fordham London.
Reconciles and records transactions for electronic payments.
Assists in special projects such as 403b audit and unclaimed funds.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED .
Minimum of 1 year of payroll and/or accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Banner, TM1 Business Intelligence Analytics.
Minimum Salary: $60,000
Maximum Salary: $65,000
