FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc., is a global leader in chemical solutions which enable the semiconductor industry and the digital universe. We have an exciting opportunity at our North Kingstown, RI facility for a Lab Technician to support 2nd shift operations!
The Role
Our Lab Technicians perform a wide range of functional testing on advanced, high purity chemical products used in Semiconductor manufacturing. This includes performing the required analytical/trace metal testing on a wide range of samples; in-process production samples from Formulation, Packaging and Research; packaged finished goods.
The successful candidate will assist in the evaluation of new test procedures including participation in gauge studies and monitor all instruments through Statistical Process Control.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
-
Perform the required functional testing on a wide range of samples utilizing standard operating procedures in support of production, engineering and R&D.

Accurately record all data into the LIMS system.
-
Assist in the transfer/evaluation of new products and test procedures through participation in gauge studies.
-
Monitor all instruments through Statistical Process control.
-
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
REQUIREMENTS
-
Associates Degree (Chemical Technology)
-
2-5 years of technical laboratory experience
-
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control is a plus but not necessary
-
Experience with trace metal instrumentation (ICP, GFAA) thought not required, is a plus.

Must be able to wear a respirator

Proficient in computer skills
-
Individual must be highly organized and work cohesively as part of cross functional teams
