Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse serves as a resource nurse who plans, coordinates, evaluates, provides for, and delivers health care services to patients under the direction of the Walk in Clinic provider.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
A current Iowa certification as a CMA.
A current Iowa license as an LPN or RN is required.
Six months previous ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain and display professionalism with customers and coworkers.
Organizational skills, with attention to detail, including time management and workflow required.
Advanced knowledge of nursing practice, including the ability to make sound judgments in clinical situations.
Understanding of teaching/learning principles.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Obtain certification in BCLS within three months of hire/in position.
