Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2027 Summer Software Engineering Intern. In this role, you will develop, integrate, and test software. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Linux, Java, C++, and containers. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major

• Experience with Java and/or C++ Experience with software engineering principles and methodologies

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Linux

• Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with Agile concepts and processes

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
