Printing Press Assistant-Direct Hire Salary range starting at 47k with potential of 59K Shift-7pm-7am with a 2-2-3 schedule Job Description: 1. Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job. 2. Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality. 3. Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies. 4. Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed. 5. Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed. 6. Complete necessary daily paperwork. 7. Complete 5S/housekeeping logs. 8. Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined. 9. Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area 10. All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management Qualifications: 1. Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications 2. Experience in manufacturing environment preferred. 3. Forklift experience preferred 4. Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software 5.
