Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the Executive Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant performs administrative and project support to the CNO and other members of the Senior Management team, promoting communication between the Administrative Team and the Medical Staff, Hospital Staff, and others interacting with the Administrative Team
What you will do in this role:

Performs administrative duties and special projects for the CNO and other members of the Senior Management Team as deemed necessary.

Attentive to detail and required paperwork inherent to the position.

Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive material or information related to staff members or Hospital/Department operations.

Maintains facility policies and procedures and ensures correct policies are posted in the hospital intranet.

Coordinates IRB and Bioethics Committee meetings to include notification to members, agenda development, and recording of minutes.

Prepares and takes minutes for the Nursing Leadership meetings.

Maintains and distributes bi-weekly administrative call schedule.

Collects and assembles data for various projects as assigned.

Assists in the interpretation of Hospital operational standards with individual employees as applicable with referral of unusual problems to the Executive Assistant or a senior administrative officer.

Understands the organizational and political structure of the Hospital and applies same in screening of correspondence and calls.

Handles contacts with Hospital and/or community leaders tactfully and professionally.
