Full job description
Description
Amazon Ads helps advertisers build their business and brand through digital and streaming TV media, ad formats, and audience and measurement capabilities that connect brands with customers wherever they spend their time. Within Amazon Ads, our creative and content team is looking for a Senior Executive Content Marketing Manager to shape the narratives that our most senior leaders deliver in both invite-only settings and on the industry's biggest stages.
This is a highly visible role with a seat close to leadership. You'll partner with executives across Amazon Ads around the globe, turn complex product and business strategy into clear narratives, and set the standard for how our most important moments sound and feel. You'll also help define how a world-class content team puts AI to work — using it as a force multiplier across the content lifecycle to speed up output and raise quality at every stage you touch. The role spans two complementary domains: external executive content for select regional and global customer events, and end-to-end content leadership for large-scale internal sales meetings. If you're energized by range — and by work that reaches both customers and thousands of Amazonians — this is for you.
Key job responsibilities
-
Create presentation materials — slides, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories — for Amazon Ads senior leadership at small-group executive gatherings and global customer events, and author messaging frameworks that define how each leader shows up externally.
-
Partner with events and content teams to shape event strategy and general-session flow, aligning the right mix of speakers to business priorities and brand messaging.
-
Lead content and program management for large-scale internal sales meetings — general-session and breakout strategy, speaker selection and preparation, experiential direction, and agency management.
-
Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate brief creation, script development, and asset production at scale, and recommend practices that help the wider team adopt AI-augmented approaches.
-
Manage multiple high-stakes content projects simultaneously, driving deliverables to deadline and maintaining quality across stakeholder groups — including product marketing, PR, growth, sales, and external agencies — with clear project communications.
A day in the life
On any given morning you might be refining a keynote script with a VP, then shifting to a working session to lock the general-session arc for an upcoming sales meeting. After lunch you could be reviewing AI-generated first drafts of breakout-session briefs, sharpening them before they go to speakers. Later, you'll join a sync with product marketing and PR to align messaging for an executive appearance at a global customer event. Throughout it all, you're the connective thread — making sure every story we tell is on-brand and lands with its audience. It's a marriage of storytelling and program management that runs on keeping the details in sight.
About the team
We are a small, specialized team of four within the creative and content organization at Amazon Ads. We work exclusively with executives, which gives us unique insight into products, organizational goals, and leadership vision. The team's scope is expanding, and this is a great time to join and help shape what comes next.
