Assist with daily tasks including but not limited to the following: Attend to cattle. Drive farm trucks, farm tractors, and other equipment to assist in the production of livestock feed. Haul feed and water and transport cattle. Assist with banding, ear tagging, branding, catching and loading, and hauling manure. Inspect, and maintain equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. May maintain records on cattle. Examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries. Assist with calving. Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Mowing pastures and ditches & other related Farm Worker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
