About the Department

• Pulmonology is the specialty area of medicine that focuses specifically on the pulmonary system. The pulmonary system, also sometimes called the respiratory system, consists of the lungs , trachea , bronchi , bronchioles , associated blood vessels, and all other components involved in and directly related to breathing and the process of respiration (gas exchange).

About The Career:

• The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the practice including overseeing all duties of the front and back office operations and m akes key business decisions . Is responsible for proposing and managing budgets, ensuring the practice remains financially sustainable while delivering excellent customer service . The manager will represent the clinic at physician and senior leader-level meetings, as well as communicate with the clinic's medical staff, department heads, clinicians and other subordinate staff. Responsible for the successful day to day operations of the practice.

All About You :

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.

• Minimum 1-year healthcare office management experience including managing personnel

• Working knowledge of applicable medical terminology preferred

• Medical billing experience preferred

• Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Additional experience in Epic, QHN, eClinicalWorks, and MediTech preferred.

• High level of professionalism and organizational skills
