Standard Job Description

Space is a critical domain, connecting our technologies, our security and our humanity. While others view space as a destination, we see it as a realm of possibilities, where we can do more — we can innovate, invest, inspire and integrate our capabilities to transform the future.

At Lockheed Martin Space, we aim to harness the full potential of space to cultivate innovation, reduce costs, and push the boundaries of what technology can achieve. And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.

Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.

Do you have a passion for working on emerging technologies? Tactical Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers. You will develop test plans, implement tests, develop test documentation, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. The execution of this program will require this individual to lead/support various Flight Test and Ground Test events as the Certified Test Conductor (CTC) where travel and alternate-shift work, sometimes frequent, will be required. As a CTC you will lead test efforts, including test equipment specification and system element simulator development, to ensure mission success for systems integration on DDG-1000 (Zumwalt-class) destroyers and SSN (Virginia-class) submarines.

Anticipated travel for this position is expected to be 30-50% of the time.
