Proactively coordinates activities and resources in conjunction with other departments in order to comply with priorities and overall objectives of the mine plan. **MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: ** - Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Experience: A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of mine operations or construction experience preferably in an open pit mine environment or large earthmoving excavation environment. - Licenses: Valid driver's license. - Focus on Safety. - Strong personnel development, oral and written communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and incident investigation skills. - Proven supervisory skills is preferred. - Working knowledge of mobile equipment including operating and maintaining such equipment. - Basic working knowledge of JDE and TCP or equivalent software experience is preferred. - Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to learn new software. - Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing. - Preferred:Education: A bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering or another related technical field. Equivalent years of related experience can substitute for the Engineering degree requirement. - Preferred:Experience: One to two (1-2) years of supervisory experience. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: ** - Follow safe work procedures and best practices. - Maintain a clean work environment. - Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed by Crew members. - Participate in meetings and discussions. - Be a role model to others in safe behavior. - Be willing and enthusiastic. - Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of Robinson Nevada Mining Company and KGHM. - Assists in managing and supervising a Mine Operations crew. - Support and assist the Senior Supervisors in their work. - Support and assist in the training of other crew members and department members. - Participate in job planning. - Handle disciplinary action within the operations department. **WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: ** - Ability to meet the required physical demands, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly. **BENEFITS: ** Competitive Compensation: Reflecting the value of your contributions.
