Full job description

About Campus Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait. At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024. We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others. The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us! About the Role We're looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and logistics for Campus's student programs, and to build the data foundation behind every one of those decisions. You'll oversee technology procurement (student laptops, hotspots, and connectivity), vendor performance, and cost optimization, and you'll manage the 3PL partners that store and ship student devices and merchandise. Additional responsibilities include running our branded merchandise program to strengthen brand recognition and student engagement. This includes owning the Campus e-commerce store including its product mix, inventory, and fulfillment experience. As an analytics expert you will develop and own dashboards, define the metrics, build the data models, and publish the dashboards that give Finance, IT, and Student Experience a shared, trusted view of cost per device, vendor and 3PL SLAs, inventory, and fulfillment performance. You'll also build the forecasts and cost models that inform what we buy, from whom, and at what price. You'll report to the Director of Student Experience and partner closely with Finance and IT. If you're a quantitative procurement expert who likes building the systems that make decisions better, with strong negotiation skills and a passion for operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will... Analytics and reporting

  • Own the procurement and supply chain dashboards in Hex, from data modeling to publishing, including metric definitions, refresh cadence, and data quality checks.

  • Track and report KPIs such as cost per device, landed cost, spend vs. budget, vendor and 3PL SLA compliance, on-time delivery, shipping turnaround, inventory days on hand, stockout rate, order accuracy, and return/RMA rate, consolidating data from 3PL systems, Shopify, finance and ERP tools, and vendor portals into a single trusted reporting layer.

  • Build demand forecasts and cost models (total cost of ownership, vendor comparison, scenario analysis) tied to enrollment and cohort starts, and measure forecast accuracy.

  • Present performance insights and recommendations to leadership in regular business reviews, and turn them into action with vendors.

Sourcing, vendor, and 3PL management

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals and cost targets, and track market and pricing trends.

  • Manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance reviews for technology and connectivity vendors, using scorecard data to hold them to SLAs and resolve issues quickly.

  • Own our 3PL relationships end to end: lead selection and onboarding, negotiate contracts and rate cards, and set SLAs for receiving, pick-and-pack accuracy, shipping turnaround, and returns.

  • Run regular 3PL performance reviews using scorecard data, and drive corrective action plans when SLAs are missed.

  • Oversee 3PL inventory and fulfillment operations, including cycle counts, reconciliation, reorder points, and shipping cost, for laptops, hotspots, and merchandise.

E-commerce and merchandise

  • Lead the Campus Shopify store, including product mix, inventory, and fulfillment experience, using store and inventory data to guide assortment, reorder points, and purchasing.

  • Grow the branded merchandise program to strengthen brand recognition and student engagement.

Process and collaboration

  • Create and maintain SOPs for purchasing, vendor and 3PL onboarding, and contract management, and automate recurring reporting and purchasing work.

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Student Experience to align procurement with budgets and program needs.

We're excited about you because you have...

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management, ideally in tech, education, or consumer goods.

  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial and cost modeling).

  • Experience building dashboards end to end in a BI tool such as Hex, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Working SQL skills, including joining and querying data across multiple systems.

  • Experience building demand forecasts and cost or scenario models, and turning them into purchasing decisions.

  • A track record of using KPIs and data analysis to evaluate vendors, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

  • Proven negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.

  • Hands-on experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including SLA design, performance scorecards, contract negotiation, and inventory reconciliation.

  • Experience with e-commerce or merchandising platforms (Shopify strongly preferred).

  • The ability to turn data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfort managing multiple vendors in a high-growth environment, and the ability to drive results as priorities change.

  • A passion for Campus's mission to make high-quality, affordable education accessible to all students.

Even better if you have...

  • A Master’s degree or professional certification (CPSM, CPM, or CIPS).

  • Python or R skills for analysis and automation.

  • Familiarity with data warehouses or ETL tools (for example BigQuery, Snowflake, or Fivetran).

  • Experience with ERP, inventory, or procurement software.

  • Experience managing distributed hardware procurement (laptops, tech kits).

  • Experience optimizing connectivity or telecom contracts.

  • Knowledge of contract law, compliance, and risk management.

Location: Atlanta, GA or New York, NY office (Mon & Fri remote; Tues -Thurs in-office).
