Summary

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Secretariat Offices of DEPUTY UNDER SECRETARY OF THE NAVY - MANAGEMENT. Duties

  • You will resolve difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the staffing and classification program.
  • You will provide technical services on assigned portions of position management, staffing and classification, programs.
  • You will provide technical advice and assistance to Secretariat managers and operations personnel in resolution of difficult staffing problems.
  • You will review staffing actions/packages for completeness and compliance in accordance with Secretariat hiring process.

Qualifications

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience advising managers on recruitment strategies. Experience utilizing automated HR tools and systems to accomplish recruitment assignments. Experience executing a wide range of personnel actions for a serviced population. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting with recruitment and classification strategies. Experience and utilizing automated HR tools and systems to accomplish recruitment assignments. Experience assisting with a wide range of personnel actions for a serviced population.
