Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex new product development initiatives within a global engineering and manufacturing environment. This individual will drive cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through production launch and commercialization. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical foundation with proven program management experience and the ability to influence teams across multiple business functions and geographic locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution for new product development initiatives.

  • Drive product development activities from concept through launch while ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

  • Coordinate engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones.

  • Manage risk, identify obstacles, and implement solutions to keep programs on track.

  • Facilitate collaboration among domestic and international stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates and executive-level reporting on program status, risks, and key deliverables.

  • Support product launch readiness and transition into manufacturing.

  • Drive accountability across teams through leadership, communication, and influence.

  • Maintain alignment between project objectives and broader business goals.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program management processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience leading new product development or product launch programs in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of product development processes and manufacturing operations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or similar project management certification.

  • Experience supporting complex engineered products or technology-based solutions.

  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or other product lifecycle management tools.

  • Background in manufacturing, industrial products, or related technical industries.

  • Experience presenting program updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Work Environment

This role operates within a collaborative, global engineering organization focused on developing and delivering innovative products and solutions. The position requires frequent interaction with cross-functional teams, leadership, and international stakeholders. While standard business hours are typical, occasional flexibility is required to support global collaboration across multiple time zones. Limited travel may be required for business meetings, program reviews, or industry events.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $72.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
