UNC Urgent Care at Flowers, located in Clayton, NC, is currently seeking a Full-time, Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA). Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based.

Ideal Candidate:
-
Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
-
Work experiencein acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settingpreferred

Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older

NC Licensure or ability to obtain

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Required procedures: Suturing, splinting

DOT Certification

Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required

Clinic Schedule:

8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
