Job Posting: Auto Detail Technician Company Name: Rick's Auto Sales & Repair, Inc Location: 907 S. 2nd Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Compensation: $14.00 -- $16.00 / hour (Depending on Experience) + Guaranteed Overtime About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Auto Detail Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and maintaining the interior and exterior of client vehicles to pristine condition. If you have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for automotive care, we want to hear from you! Work Schedule & Hours This is a full-time position with built-in weekly overtime to accommodate our thriving workload. • Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM -- 5:30 PM (Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute unpaid breaks) • Saturday: 8:00 AM -- 12:00 PM (Straight shift, no lunch break) • Please note: Saturday shifts depend on the current work load. Key Responsibilities • Exterior Detailing: Wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors; clean wheels, tires, and wheel wells. • Interior Detailing: Vacuum, steam-clean carpets, upholstery, and mats; clean and condition leather; thoroughly clean dash, console, and windows. • Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet our strict quality standards before delivery to the customer. • Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain detailing equipment, including pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, and extractors. • Shop Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; follow all safety protocols regarding chemical use and tool handling. Qualifications & Skills • Experience: Previous professional auto detailing experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic. • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor imperfections and take pride in delivering a flawless finish. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a 9.5-hour shift. • Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a commitment to working the Saturday morning shift when required. • License: Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to safely move customer vehicles.
