Full job description
Position Summary: Hands-on production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
Role Description: Operation of Robotic equipment. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toed shoes. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Responsibilities:

Hands-on production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.

Computer literacy; must work closely with computers and programs daily.
-
Diligent observation of machinery in order to identify abnormalities during operation.
-
Be able to make/suggest adjustments in order to positively affect quality.
-
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems that arise.
-
Ensure that all quality controls are completed each day.
-
Detailed cleaning of all applicable areas during product color changes.
-
Communicate with other Operators, Assistant Shift Leaders and Shift Leader.
-
Ensure a clean and safe work area.
-
Assist in production as necessary.

Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position: Education and Work Experience:

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Knowledge and Skills:
-
Knowledge of basic moulding processes, procedures, and machinery preferred (ex. oven/kiln operation, conveying systems, presses).
-
Experience in the safe storage and handling of chemicals. Physical Demands:
-
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
-
Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
-
Ability to work overtime hours as needed with little or no notification.

May encounter the following chemicals:

Acetone
-
Resin
-
