Full job description

Description We are looking for a Procurement Specialist 4 to support sourcing and procurement operations for a long-term contract assignment based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented individual who can partner with stakeholders, guide category planning, and manage supplier-related activities in a facilities management environment. The position focuses on delivering strategic sourcing support, ensuring policy adherence, and helping business teams make informed purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into effective sourcing and procurement plans.

  • Lead category and sub-category purchasing activities by shaping strategies, timelines, and supplier engagement approaches.

  • Oversee end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including bid management, contract support, cost considerations, and risk mitigation.

  • Provide guidance to business teams on procurement policies, best practices, and compliant purchasing procedures.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with strategic suppliers while identifying new vendors that align with business objectives.

  • Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting materials for leadership to communicate sourcing progress and recommendations.

  • Monitor adherence to established sourcing processes and serve as a resource throughout each stage of procurement execution.

  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, business priorities, and category trends to support sound decision-making. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract administration. • Background in sourcing within the facilities management industry is required. • Experience with Corrigo and Aravo is strongly preferred. • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholder groups. • Solid analytical and decision-making abilities, including experience with budgeting, planning, and risk evaluation. • Working knowledge of procurement methods, category management, and supply chain principles. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $30 to $35. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
