Full job description

Summary:

In this role, you will work within a team to manage the configuration and optimization of our Salesforce quoting platform to create and maintain products, services, and pricing as well as partnering across the organization to execute on our Go-To-Market initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the Salesforce environment is aligned with the company’s short- and long-term goals while fully supporting the needs of various user types. A strong candidate should have experience working with SF Steelbrick and Sales cloud, strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize Salesforce processes, workflows, validation rules, and automations to drive Sales growth.

  • Collaborate with business partners to document desired functionality, translate functionality to requirements, make recommendations for best practice implementation, and execute the changes.

  • Assist in testing and deploying updates, demonstrating new functionality to business partners, and maintaining documentation of processes and configurations.

  • Manage Pricing and Promotion Engine, creating or updating promotions, permissions, and fields as needed.

  • Identify and manage cross team dependencies to prevent headwinds and foster collaboration.

  • Coordinate release deployments and complete deployment validation.

  • Independently prioritize workload based on company priorities.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce reporting tools, best practices, objects, configurations, custom apps, formulas, workflows, etc.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to proactively manage workload in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with remote teams.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and comfortable working within a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer (Salesforce certification preferred).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce configuration best practices with a proven track record of participating in Salesforce projects or initiatives from concept to implementation.

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario and make a recommendation for best path forward.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Administrator Certification Preferred).
