Full job description

Overview

At Microsoft, our mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. The Global Experience Centers (GEC) bring that mission to life through high-impact executive engagements that deepen customer and partner relationships and serve as a trusted partner on their transformation journey through executive briefings and immersive experiences.

We are looking for an Envisioning Specialist to help design and deliver end-to-end experiences that blend curated content, expert speakers, and immersive storytelling to inspire action and drive AI transformation. If you're energized by engaging with customers and want to be at the forefront of innovation, GEC offers a dynamic platform to make a meaningful impact and grow your career.

Picture this: You’ve just concluded a demonstration with a group of customer executives at Experience Center One. Over the course of the conversation, you’ve connected emerging technology and real-world business scenarios to the challenges and opportunities that matter most to their organization. What began as a demonstration has become a strategic conversation about what’s possible, what it could mean for their business, and where they go next.

That is the opportunity of an Envisioning Specialist. You make complex technology relevant, understandable, and compelling. You stay curious about the innovations reshaping industries and translate them into stories that resonate with executive audiences. By understanding each customer’s priorities and creating meaningful moments of connection, you help some of Microsoft’s most strategic customers envision what AI transformation could look like for their organization and inspire the conversations that move them forward.

This position is based in Redmond, Washington at Microsoft’s Experience Center One, and requires on-site presence due to the hands-on nature of briefing delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on technology demonstrations in person at Microsoft’s Experience Center One to strategic enterprise customers.

  • Inspire and instill confidence in customer audiences by facilitating demonstrations across a range of solution areas, industries, and customer success scenarios.

  • Support the creation of scripts for assigned demonstrations and experiences, and package materials, including scripts, training videos, and other documentation, for use by other GEC facilities around the world.

  • Share expertise on complex customer engagement delivery programs with stakeholders, partners, and customers to build understanding and alignment.

  • Partner with the Readiness Lead and Immersive Experiences Lead to launch new demonstrations at Experience Center One, supporting deployment, readiness, and the transition to customer delivery while helping ensure existing experiences remain reliable and delivery-ready.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in storytelling and customer demonstration delivery, providing insights and perspectives to GEC partners in Redmond and the global community of Envisioning Specialists in Silicon Valley, Munich, and Singapore.

  • Capture the “Voice of the Customer” at the conclusion of each demonstration, documenting feedback in internal tools and sharing it with account teams to help accelerate the sales cycle.

  • Identify trends, business needs, challenges, and feedback from customer engagements, and provide input on existing experiences and ideas for potential new experiences.

  • Embody our Culture and Values

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Business or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in enterprise sales, marketing, and/or business development, including experience engaging directly with customers and account teams

  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating scripts, key talking points, and other documentation to support demonstration or experience delivery.

  • Experience delivering solution and product demonstrations to executives and customers.

  • Conversational depth of subject matter expertise in AI, IT, cloud, and software business trends, including the impact of AI transformation on Microsoft’s priority industry verticals (e.g., retail, healthcare, manufacturing).

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent deliverables and move fluidly between project work and presenting to customers across multiple engagements per day and week.

  • Cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely within a small team and support one another toward shared success.

  • Storytelling, communication, and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience presenting in person to large audiences (20+ people) and/or internal or external executives.

  • L150–L200 depth of subject matter expertise, or the ability to learn and ramp quickly, in Azure (Data & AI, Apps & Infrastructure), Modern Workplace, and Business Applications, gained through a prior sales, marketing, or engineering role related to these areas.
