Pay: $24-28/hr based on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

This position is ONSITE in Tallapoosa, GA, must be able to commute to Tallapoosa, GA

About the Role:

We are seeking an Internal Communications Support Specialist to provide essential communications support for Transmission Plant Georgia (TMP-G) and Transmission Plant Ohio (TMP-O). This onsite role, based in Tallapoosa, GA, collaborates closely with plant leadership and the Internal Communications team to create and deliver timely, effective communications for associates and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and coordination of plant communications, including leadership messages, associate updates, presentations, and storytelling.

  • Support town hall meetings, milestone activities, special events, and other communication needs within the plant.

  • Coordinate photography, video production, digital content, and communication materials with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Provide communications support during urgent or emergency situations, including occasional off-shift support.

  • Help organize plant tour logistics.

  • Stay informed about plant activities, ensure alignment of communications across both sites, and provide regular updates to plant and communications leadership.

  • Support additional southern Honda locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications.

  • Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and project coordination skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with leaders and cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and travel between locations as needed.

  • Ability to travel 2–4 times per year.
