Planner

Hexcel is currently seeking a Planner for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA, Matrix location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: * Manage production schedule for assigned assets * Reserve raw materials for production, and coordinate delivery of raw materials to production floor * Track operations performance to schedule * Release production orders * Create shop-floor paperwork and provide to operations * Coordinate with planning manager and Planner II to manage deviations from the plan * Manage inventory for assigned products * Reserve inventory for shipments * Ensure FIFO and prevent orphaned inventory * Prioritize rework based on shipments Qualifications: * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor's Degree preferred * 3+ years of manufacturing experience required, 3+ years planning/scheduling experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment preferred * Inventory Control Experience/BOM Management experience preferred * APICS Certification preferred * Proficient in part definition, bills of material, capacity planning preferred * Current computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs, knowledge of Microsoft AX preferred * Demonstrated leadership abilities, and superior communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills * Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems required * Ability to read, analyze and interpret customer specifications and requirements * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
