Full job description
Utility Meter Technician (Installer) positions located in Marceline, Mo., Nixa, Mo. and Mobile, Alabama. Compensation: Weekly pay by direct deposit. Typical earnings are $1,000-$1,800 per week. Projects may be piece-rate or prevailing wage. Earnings vary by project, production, hours, and location. Veterans, Guard/Reserve members, and transitioning service members are encouraged to apply. Company-paid housing is provided during active projects and may include hotel, Airbnb, apartment, or similar accommodations. Paid training, daily routes, and clear expectations are provided. Preferred: Meter, construction, utilities, HVAC, electrical, cable, telecom, field service, residential service, lead tech, or supervisor experience - Complete indoor/outdoor meter work, including pits, boxes, lids, and access points, - Perform endpoint/radio installation, wiring tie-ins, and leak checks, manage routes - Document work orders using a tablet/Ipad - Follow procedures, requirements and safety expectations - Communicate access, safety, property, or site concerns - Valid Driver's license, vehicle insurance and reliable vehicle required - Ability to pass background screening where permitted by law - Willingness to travel, work independently, and manage a route - Ability to work indoors/outdoors and meet production expectations - Time Management, customer service, andmobile technology skills
