Description
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a healthcare organization's Legal & Regulatory Affairs team in Orange County, CA. This Long-term Contract position will play a central role in supporting legal documentation, governance activities, regulatory matters, and litigation-related work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information while coordinating multiple legal priorities.
Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and oversee a wide range of legal agreements, including confidentiality agreements, supplier contracts, provider-related documents, business associate agreements, and contract updates.

Coordinate corporate governance activities by supporting entity documentation, regulatory filings, and the upkeep of official records.

Conduct legal and regulatory research to support attorneys and internal stakeholders on compliance, operational, and risk-related questions.

Assist with dispute-related matters by organizing case materials, supporting discovery efforts, and helping prepare for litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.

Compile and submit licensing and regulatory documentation while drafting precise legal correspondence and related materials.

Monitor legal projects, deadlines, and deliverables to help ensure timely completion and improve workflow efficiency across the legal function.

Safeguard confidential legal, regulatory, and business information with a high degree of discretion and accuracy.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

At least 5-7+ years of paralegal or legal support experience, with senior-level responsibility preferred.

Demonstrated background in contract administration, legal research, and coordinating complex legal projects.

Working knowledge of civil litigation processes, discovery activities, and trial preparation support.

Experience using case management software and other tools that support legal operations and matter tracking.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with careful attention to detail and proofreading accuracy.

Ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, and remain organized in a deadline-driven setting.

Prior experience in the healthcare sector or familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory environments is preferred.
