Responsibilities
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will engage in various activities, including:

Testing:
-
Attend meetings with Process Owners and management.

Assist in updating test matrices.
-
Assist in performing compliance tests in areas such as Financial Reporting, Revenue, Receivables, Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Human Resources.

Complete workpapers under the direction of Internal Audit leadership.

Financial and Operational Audit Assignments:
-
Assist in reviewing and testing policies, procedures, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement.

Contribute to draft audit reports with recommendations.
IT Application Control Testing:

Assist in conducting interviews and meetings with IT and process owners.

Update workpapers and perform assigned compliance tests under the direction of Internal Audit leadership.
Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Expense Compliance:

Assist in testing T&E expenses against the Corporate T&E policy.

Assist in conducting T&E investigations as needed.

Support continuous monitoring and special investigations related to T&E.
Location: Based in Marlboro, MA.
Pay range: $23 - $30 per hour, based on your class standing and operational function.
Education: A graduate student pursuing a master’s level degree or a third- or fourth-year college student pursuing a degree in Business Administration; Accounting, Information Technology, Business Analytics major preferred
Experience: Current student. Meaningful internship or Co-op experience a plus but not required.

Proficient in Microsoft business applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Oracle system experience a plus.

Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided.
