Pay Range: $ 54,000 - $76,000
Job Summary:Global Financial Reporting (GFR) Accountants are responsible for assisting the department with meeting objectives related to corporate entity accounting, global financial consolidation, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting. This role requires a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP accounting, so a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a desire to obtain your CPA license is required. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change; work effectively within cross-functional teams; be highly resourceful; able to deliver strong results; have a passion for operational excellence; and possess a strong set of communication and analytical skills.
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Perform a variety of general accounting activities related to global financial reporting, including the following:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts while documenting business transactions.
Analyze financial information and assist in preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
Perform account reconciliations and review of quarterly and annual fillings with the SEC
Build relationships with local country controllers to understand subsidiary operations and facilitate the collection of financial information.
Ensure all financial deadlines are met.
Prepare documentation to assist internal and external auditors.
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to aid in accounting processes and other company objectives.
Identify ways to develop and implement best practices to improve existing processes and accuracy.
Provide support on ad-hoc requests and special projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
CPA license/CPA candidate is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
Some travel, evening and weekend work may be required.
