Production Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Placentia, California. This role oversees production planning, maintenance coordination, material flow, and workforce effectiveness to support reliable plant performance. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, a practical approach to continuous improvement, and a commitment to quality, safety, and on-time execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing and maintenance activities to keep operations running efficiently and support overall plant performance.

• Develop and manage production plans that align labor, equipment, materials, and tooling with business goals and customer demand.

• Drive cost improvement efforts by optimizing the use of personnel, machinery, facility resources, and inventory.

• Monitor output, quality, and schedule attainment to ensure products meet expectations and operational targets are consistently achieved.

• Put operational strategies into action that strengthen the facility’s ability to meet company objectives and adapt to changing priorities.

• Promote practical problem-solving methods and encourage the adoption of improved techniques across production teams.

• Improve workforce deployment and process flow to increase productivity within existing departments and systems.

• Strengthen safety performance and workplace organization by addressing hazards, reinforcing accountability, and maintaining clean, orderly work areas.

• Contribute to cross-functional review activities, including participation in material disposition and related decision-making processes. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, make sound decisions, and work independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities successfully.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to improving production performance.

• High level of energy and initiative, with a hands-on leadership style that supports team engagement and accountability.

• Background in project management and cross-functional coordination; formal project management training or PMP certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and the ability to support evolving production management methods.
