Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Project Manager to work within the Cybersecurity team to oversee a variety of projects dedicated to the task of reducing risk in our environment. Application security is a top priority project.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience implementing cross-organization IT solutions, a proactive problem solver with a strong technical background, excellent written and verbal communication skills and very strong organization skills. This person will need effective leadership skills and the ability to manage in a highly matrixed organization. This position can offer 55-65/hour depending on experience and will be fully remote.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete IT projects related to reducing cyber security risks
  • Identify and document business cases, requirements and scope, then manage the entire solution planning cycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and document project requirements.
  • Manage business and conflicting priorities with the ability to maintain stakeholder commitments.
  • Monitor progress throughout the project management process and work with Program Managers to deliver against plan and targets.
  • Ensure pro-active, clear communications and coordination across business and technical teams.
  • Escalate and resolve risks and misalignment.
  • Provide strong Project Management support using a Project Management Methodology, processes and tools.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field -5+ years Project Management experience within software application security, or cybersecurity -Experience leading Application Security, IAM, Identity Governance, Access Governance, or Compliance initiatives -Experience coordinating security remediation efforts across large enterprise application portfolios -Experience on complex, global projects for highly matrixed and enterprise level companies -Multiple delivery methodology experience – waterfall, iterative, agile -Application security experience including but not limited to; RBAC, SSO, Principle of Least Privilege(PoLP), application access controls -Experience working with application owners, security teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders -Basic understanding of cybersecurity technologies and processes (e.g., DLP, IPS/IDS, SIEM, Vulnerability Management) and enterprise compliance and controls +PMP
