Infection Control Specialist Registered Nurse (RN)
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Travel
Pay: $3200 / Week
Hours: 40.00
Location: French Camp, CA
The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and monitoring of an infection control program and/or employee health program. The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating programs designed to detect, evaluate and minimize risks of acquired infections to patients, employees and visitors. The RN – Infection Control Specialist supports and acts as a resource to administration, medical staff, and all hospital or clinic services.
Minimum Requirements:

Current licensures as a Registered Nurse in the state ofassignment required
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
-
Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in employee health orinfection control preferred
-
Infection Control Certification preferred
-
Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations
-
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlookand Access preferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
