THE WORK

Seeking highly energetic candidates to fill a Field Sustainment Representative (FSR) position directly supporting the LM-STAR Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) at customer facilities in San Diego, CA.

Guide the successful completion of major tasks and function in an on-site role. Represent the organization as the technical contract and interact with senior external and internal personnel.

To become an integral part of a highly valued Field Engineering team to implement the execution of annualperformance verification testing for the LM-STAR ATE stations.

Must be able to effectively utilize technical and engineering data to perform problem analysis and troubleshootingto the lowest applicable hardware level to restore normal operational availability.

Be accountable in the control and maintenance of all provided system test kit materials to include cables andadapters. In addition, proper handling and calibration/maintenance of all required support equipment needed toperform the job. Create and maintain all performance and maintenance records within the Automated Depot Information System(ADIS) database in a timely and accurate manner. Uses ADIS to order, receive and ship LM-STAR functional assets from and to the PBL-Supplied Depot in LMTLS, Orlando, FL or any of our Remote Depot Supply Facility (RDSF).Be a proactive, energetic, and contributing Team Member as well as have the ability to work independently of others. Provide on-site support as requested by the Supplier, Field Service Manager, Field Service Lead or Program Management.

Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.

Basic Qualifications

Proficient computer skills, particularly with troubleshooting both computer hardware and software deficiencies andto execute software rebuild/reinstall procedures.

Be able to physically handle up to 50 pounds in removing/installing assets in the LM-STAR Test Station and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) and Support Equipment.

Understand technical drawings and diagrams and be able to translate them to hardware assemblies within the test station.

Proficient with the use of command hand tools associated with the maintenance and repair of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies.

Effective oral/written communication skills.

Flexible, team-player with ability to work high volume and multi-task activities within assigned time constraints.

Comfortable with change and willingness to adapt to change.

Applies discretion and judgment to complete assignments of limited scope, with work being reviewed throughout the assignment.

Willingness to travel domestic and Internationally.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills

LM-STAR and/or Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience with execution of calibration, test routines and maintenance troubleshooting abilities.

Knowledge and understanding of all configurations of an ATE Test Station.

Automated Test Equipment maintenance/test integration knowledge and experience desired to include: VDATS from the US Air Force and/or civilian professional environment.

Understanding of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) and functional interaction between Operating System software,Test Program Set (TPS) software and hardware and test system hardware.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
