Full job description
We're hiring our first product designer!
Bunkerhill's long horizon agent has run over 10M workflows in the first half of 2026. We are live at over a dozen health systems with over 30 workflows in production.
We are building Carebricks - the platform that runs our agent across use cases as diverse as prior authorization, referral queue triage, opportunistic screening, eligibility checks, insurance denial appeals among many more. All of these workflows run on a single platform.
We serve several different end user personas: physicians, pharmacy techs, schedulers, back office staff, abstractors, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants across large health systems. That means you work on a high scale + high touch system.
Our goal is to ship rapidly, learn and iterate towards a product that leaves our users feeling like someone has put in an inordinate amount of care and thought into making their work better.
We want abstractors to be able to review tedious registry submissions with ease, care coordinators to know a patient's condition at a glance, pharmacy technicians to be able to verify prior authorization packets with ease. All on one platform.
We're looking for a founding product designer to:
-
Push the frontier of AI+Humans in Healthcare: Come up with creative solutions for healthcare users to interact with cutting edge AI output
-
Make Carebricks look and feel unique: Create and own the design system, incorporating brand guidelines.
-
Explore what greatness is across healthcare: Define what an excellent product experience means for all of our end users
-
Move quickly and contribute from day 1: Work closely with engineering to iterate on new features
-
Optimize: Revamp existing workflows, aimed at optimizing user experience
This role is meant for someone with high ownership seeking impact. Our work has led to thousands of patients receiving better healthcare, and end users being able to translate their ideas into reality for the first time.
You will have the chance to be creative, access power users of the platform, learn and observe how end users derive value, and have access to a top tier engineering team to help realise your vision. Today, our engineering team designs and builds the product based on insights from end users, and open feedback channels. We do not have a design process and you will get to define what it will look like.
These are some things that would be helpful:
-
Demonstrated history working well with Engineering teams
-
Experience designing enterprise web applications
-
Experience working on an AI enabled product
