We believe the best ideas come from open debate, deep collaboration, and diverse perspectives, which is why we believe transparency is the default and feedback makes us stronger. If you’re energized by high standards, rapid growth, and the opportunity to help define a category at a pivotal moment, come join us! Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your role We are looking for a Senior Director to lead content at Juniper Square, with editorial content at the core of the role. You will own the editorial voice and the content and search programs that shape how the private markets industry sees us, in partnership with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Sales and the executive team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead our content and organic search function and the leaders and specialists within it. This is a backfill of an existing leadership seat, with a scope shaped around content. The role exists to make content a durable source of awareness, executive visibility and pipeline as the company grows, including in private equity and private markets AI.
What you'll do
-
Own the editorial strategy and voice across flagship content, research, customer stories and long-form pieces, so that what we publish is distinctive, credible and recognized in private markets.
-
Own organic search performance, so that our content earns durable discovery and the search program is measured against clear targets.
-
Run integrated content-led campaigns with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales, so that content is activated across channels and connected to pipeline.
-
Translate company strategy and corporate objectives into a content plan with clear priorities, success metrics and resourcing, and manage your team and agencies to results across quarterly and annual horizons.
-
Build, structure and develop a team of managers and senior specialists in content and search: hire to plan, plan for succession and coach emerging leaders into larger roles.
-
Align executives and cross-functional leaders on content priorities, and represent the department in strategic forums across Marketing, Sales, Product and the executive team.
-
Lead department-level transformation with AI: set team practices for AI in content and search workflows, measure the results, and share what works and what does not across the company.
Qualifications
-
10+ years in B2B marketing, including substantial experience leading content, editorial or content marketing functions.
-
A record of hiring, structuring and developing a team that includes managers and senior specialists, and of owning a budget.
-
Demonstrated editorial excellence: a body of flagship content, research or thought leadership that built an audience or moved pipeline.
-
Experience owning organic search strategy and results, and connecting content to measurable business outcomes.
-
A strategic operator who balances long-term content programs with near-term marketing impact, and who can align senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, product and the executive team.
-
Practical AI fluency: specific examples of AI tools you have configured or connected rather than only used, and of the results they produced for a content or marketing team.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication, and comfort as both strategist and hands-on contributor.
-
Preferred: experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, financial services, private markets or asset management.
