Job Description

Develop new electrochemical methods for analysis and equipment for implementation purposes. Develop analytical methods for process solutions used in metal deposition and other areas of semiconductor manufacturing. Interface with engineering group to design commercial analyzers. Plan and conduct experiments then write technical report findings. Participate in documenting, testing, and supporting equipment. Prepare scientific publications and present work at conferences. Plan and conduct a wide range of electrochemical experiments, such as CVS and EIS and provide the technical report about the findings. Develop the analytical methods for process solutions used in metal deposition and other areas of semiconductor manufacturing. Salary range: $113,300 - $180,200 per year.

Minimum requirements: Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

Special Requirements: Position requires experience or education in each of the following skills:

1. Utilization of AC/DC potentiostat;

2. Utilization of plating cells (e.g. HULL cell);

3. UV-Vis-NIR- Spectroscopy;

4. Separation (HPLC, GC);

5. Multivariate analysis; and

6. Raman Spectroscopy.
