Print Production Designer

Our Beauty client is seeking a Print Production Designer to join their team for the next 3+ months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in New York City.Role SummaryThe Production Designer will support the execution of high-quality print and merchandising assets for a fast-paced beauty or consumer goods environment. This role is responsible for translating approved creative concepts into accurate, production-ready files while maintaining brand consistency across a high volume of deliverables. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of production workflows, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.Top Must Have SkillsExpertise in Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AcrobatStrong print production background with experience preparing files for external vendorsAbility to adapt and resize creative across multiple formats while maintaining consistencyExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAdditional QualificationsExperience in beauty or consumer goods retail industry preferredStrong understanding of typography, layout, and visual design principlesExperience working closely with Art Directors to execute final artworkFamiliarity with asset management in cloud-based environmentsDetail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindsetResponsibilitiesTranslate Art Director approved designs into pre-production artwork across merchandising formats and sizesAdapt, resize, and prepare creative assets for consistent execution prior to vendor handoffExecute simple layouts and bullnose designs as neededPrepare mechanical files and ensure production accuracy for external vendorsOrganize and maintain digital assets within a shared cloud environmentSupport retouching, color matching, and print proof reviewManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback efficientlyEnsure all deliverables meet brand standards and production requirements In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
