The Bloomsburg Area YMCA is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Early Learning Center Assistant Teacher to join our Early Learning Center team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys creating a fun and engaging learning environment, and wants to make a positive difference in the lives of young children. Responsibilities Include: 1. Assisting the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lessons. 2. Creating a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment. 3. Engaging children in hands-on learning, crafts, games, and educational activities. 4. Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. 5. Supervising children and ensuring their safety throughout the day. 6. Working as a team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. 7. Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. We're Looking for Someone Who Is: 1. Patient, kind, and enthusiastic about working with young children. 2. Reliable, responsible, and a team player. 3. Creative and willing to participate in classroom activities. 4. Able to communicate positively with children, families, and staff. 5.
