Who We Are:

At Emburse, you’ll not just imagine the future – you’ll build it. As a leader in expense intelligence, we are creating a future where technology drives business value and inspires extraordinary results. Our AI-powered platform helps organizations modernize financial operations, increase visibility, and optimize spend across the enterprise.

The Event Marketing Manager drives the operational planning and execution of Emburse’s event portfolio, including corporate events, field marketing programs, industry tradeshows, partner activations, and webinars. Reporting to the Director, Global Events, this hands-on role delivers high-impact, memorable experiences that elevate brand visibility, foster prospect and customer engagement, and generate measurable pipeline.

Operating at the intersection of brand and revenue generation, this individual collaborates cross-functionally across Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Creative teams. Key responsibilities include end-to-end logistics coordination, on-site execution, lead capture, and rigorous data management to ensure rapid post-event follow-up. The ideal candidate is an agile, detail-obsessed project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in flawless execution.

Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship now or in the future

What You will Do

• End-to-End Event Management: Manage the full lifecycle of corporate events, industry tradeshows, regional field programs, executive dinners, roadshows, and webinars from initial planning through post-event wrap-up.

• Onsite & Production Logistics: Oversee detailed timelines, venue sourcing, vendor coordination, registration platforms, production, shipping/freight, and onsite staff execution to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule.

• Internal Company Events: Assist in the production and operational planning of internal corporate events, such as annual Sales and Marketing Kickoffs, all-hands meetings, and team gatherings.

• Documentation & Event Briefs: Create and maintain project trackers, run-of-show documents, event briefs, and schedules to guarantee all initiatives align with Emburse brand standards and budget constraints.

• Sales & SDR Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales and SDR teams on target-account lists, pre-event outreach, executive roundtables, and VIP meeting booking to accelerate pipeline opportunities.

• Sales Enablement & Staff Briefing: Develop comprehensive briefing packets, attendee insights, meeting schedules, and staffing guidelines to prepare executive and sales participants for onsite engagements.

• Webinar & Virtual Event Production: Lead end-to-end webinar operations, including platform configuration, speaker prep, rehearsals, live stream moderation, and coordination of promotional campaigns across marketing channels.

• Lead Capture & Data Hygiene: Partner with Marketing Operations to manage event technology, badge scanning, lead capture, and CRM campaign tagging, ensuring lead lists are processed and routed swiftly.

• Post-Event Sales Follow-Up: Coordinate rapid post-event sales follow-up strategies, lead distribution, and on-demand content nurture tracks to maximize conversion rates.

• Budget & Vendor Tracking: Track event budgets, process invoices, monitor vendor deliverables, and identify cost-efficiency opportunities while mitigating operational risks.

• Performance Reporting & ROI: Measure and report on key event metrics—including attendance rates, meetings booked, pipeline contribution, and attendee feedback—to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Brand & Attendee Experience: Partner with Creative and Content teams to produce branded collateral, signage, booth designs, and premium gifting that deliver an exceptional attendee journey.

What You will Bring

• 3–5 years of event marketing, field marketing, or corporate event management experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or equivalent practical experience; formal coursework or certifications in event or project management is a plus.

• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent programs across varied formats, including large-scale industry tradeshows, regional field activations, executive dinners, and virtual webinars.

• Hands-on working knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot), and event/webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, ON24, Bizzabo, Cvent).

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain project documentation, oversee vendors, meet strict timelines, and pivot quickly under changing deadlines.

• Strong experience partnering closely with Go-to-Market teams—including Sales, SDRs, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Creative—to drive alignment and pipeline impact.

• Solid understanding of lead-capture processes, campaign tracking, data hygiene, and performance reporting to measure event ROI and facilitate prompt sales follow-up.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience authoring clear event briefs, run-of-show documents, speaker guides, and attendee communications.

• Deep commitment to delivering polished, customer-centric experiences that reflect high brand standards and leave a lasting impression on prospects and clients.

• Willingness and ability to travel 25%–40% domestically (and occasionally internationally) based on event schedules and business needs.
