Full job description
We are hiring a Stewardship Apprentice to join our team caring for established ecological landscapes across Central Massachusetts. This is a field based role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, wants to deepen their plant knowledge, and is interested in learning how thoughtfully designed landscapes are cared for season after season. You will visit a variety of properties and work with native plants, edible landscapes, weeds, invasive plants, pruning, mulching, seasonal garden care, and other landscape stewardship tasks. You will learn plant identification and ecological land care practices while working alongside an experienced team. We are looking for someone who works hard, pays attention to detail, enjoys learning about plants, and takes pride in leaving landscapes healthier and better cared for.
