POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Materials Analytics & Reporting is responsible for leading the development, management, and continuous improvement of analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions that support the America's Materials and Manufacturing Planning team. This role is focused on providing actionable insights to improve on-time Delivery, production adherence and attainment, past-due backlog reduction, inventory performance, and overall operational efficiency.

The position serves as a key business partner by transforming data into meaningful insights, developing automated dashboards and reporting tools, driving reporting standardization, and establishing performance metrics that support strategic and operational decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a high-performing analyst team, establishing objectives, performance metrics, and professional development plans.

  • Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of operational dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reporting solutions that provide visibility to critical business metrics.

  • Establish governance and standardization for operational reporting, KPIs, and data definitions to ensure consistent measurement and decision-making across the organization.

  • Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and various stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate and consistent.

  • Partner with IT to ensure relevant data is available in the data warehouse to drive reporting efficiencies.

  • Create executive-level reporting packages that communicate key operational risks, opportunities, and business performance indicators.

  • Drive automation of manual reporting processes through Power BI, SQL, ERP reporting tools, and other business intelligence platforms.

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data quality, master data governance, and system integration capabilities.

  • Support strategic projects and initiatives by providing analytical insights, business cases, and performance measurement frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.

  • Advanced experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, or similar platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle).

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, materials management, production planning, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • The role is primarily office-based with frequent interaction with manufacturing and operations teams.

  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols when in manufacturing environments.

  • The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.

  • Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Up to 15%
