Full job description

We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.

Position Summary CVS Health's Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) organization tackles complex challenges at the intersection of healthcare and technology. We use advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and hypothesis-driven approaches to turn data into actionable insights that drive growth, improve outcomes, and increase access to care across CVS Health.

A&BC is growing its Product function and seeking a Product Manager to build and scale internal analytics products — dashboards, reporting tools, and insight-generation capabilities — for the Utilization Management (UM) Analytics Squad. This role owns the day-to-day build of analytics products end to end, while also managing the intake and delivery of ad hoc analytics requests from business stakeholders. You'll work closely with data science, engineering, and design to ship features, and with stakeholders to keep the ad hoc queue prioritized and moving.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap and backlog for an internal UM analytic product (dashboards, reporting, insight tools), from requirements through launch and iteration

  • Manage intake, triage, and prioritization of ad hoc analytics requests, balancing them against roadmap commitments

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and SME interviews to translate ambiguous business questions into clear requirements

  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specs for data science and engineering teams

  • Collaborate with designers on UX flows, wireframes, and dashboard/report design

  • Support engineering and data science through requirement clarification, sprint ceremonies, and grounding the team in user context

  • Run day-to-day Agile ceremonies (planning, backlog grooming, standups) and champion best practices

  • Coordinate dependencies with other squads and stakeholders

  • Define and monitor product and adoption metrics; use them to prioritize improvements

  • Communicate product status, trade-offs, and roadmap changes to stakeholders and leadership

This role can be full-time Remote or Hybrid (1 day per week in NYC).

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years in Product Management or Technical Product Management

  • 2+ years working cross-functionally with Data Science and/or Engineering teams

  • 2+ years partnering with SMEs to define requirements in ambiguous processes

  • 2+ years of stakeholder management experience

  • 2+ years working with Agile methodologies

  • 1+ years' experience building analytics, reporting, or dashboard products

  • 1+ years' experience managing an intake/request queue or similar prioritization workflow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with healthcare operations (payer/provider), healthcare analytics, or utilization management/prior authorization workflows; Domain experience with Medicaid

  • Strong Excel/SQL/analytics and data storytelling skills

  • Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

  • Proven ability to ship a product feature from concept through launch

  • Interest in applying AI tools to improve analytics workflows

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
