Job Description
General Manager
Ready to run the show? A respected Flathead Valley general contractor is looking for a General Manager to lead the business, grow the client base, and keep high-end residential and commercial projects running smoothly from first sketch to final walkthrough.
This company is known for building the Montana dream. They pair old-fashioned craftsmanship and integrity with innovative design, and they see every project through from conceptual planning and blueprints to the finished build. They need a proven construction leader who can protect that reputation while taking the company to its next stage of growth.
Why You Want This Position:
Competitive Salary: $100,000/year and up, depending on experience
Essential Functions and Duties:
Lead daily business operations while overseeing residential and commercial construction projects from planning through completion
Develop new business opportunities by building relationships, networking, and securing new construction and remodeling projects
Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure exceptional service and repeat business
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and operational performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability
Lead, mentor, and communicate with project teams to align goals, improve performance, and support successful project delivery
Monitor business performance, analyze growth opportunities, and implement strategies to increase revenue and operational success
Qualifications:
5+ years of leadership experience in construction management, general contracting, or a related industry
Proven success in business development, client acquisition, and growing revenue
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction processes, project management, and budgeting
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage teams and clients effectively
Experience using construction management and CRM software, such as Buildertrend, Procore, Acumatica, or similar platforms
Results-driven professional with strong organizational, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
