The right candidate brings strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and the organizational skills needed to succeed in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly close process by preparing entries, reviewing account activity, and helping deliver timely financial statements and internal reporting.

  • Analyze financial and operational information to identify trends, explain performance, and provide useful insight to leadership.

  • Assist with annual planning activities and year-end audit preparation by organizing schedules, documentation, and supporting analyses.

  • Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment tracking, collection efforts, and reconciliation of customer balances.

  • Investigate overdue accounts and partner with customers as well as internal teams to resolve billing questions and outstanding discrepancies.

  • Reconcile daily banking transactions and confirm that deposit activity is accurately recorded in the accounting system.

  • Maintain work order records and coordinate job-related accounting details with production and costing processes.

  • Provide cross-functional support in accounts payable, payroll administration, and indirect tax compliance as business needs require.

  • Uphold internal control standards and maintain accurate records aligned with regulated manufacturing and aerospace documentation expectations.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or similarly complex operating environment.

  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

  • Working knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles accurately in daily work.

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to manage and analyze financial data efficiently.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across operations, sales, engineering, and quality functions.

  • Familiarity with bank reconciliations, job costing, work orders, payroll support, or sales and use tax processes is a plus.
